Hi,

I've setup the forum and created topics but i'm having issue with getting those topics public.

I'm seeing them created in admin >> ?dl=0

but i'm getting the message:

"You don't have permissions to see this page, please register or login for further information"

See here: ?dl=0

And i'm not seeing them on the forum stats.

See here: ?dl=0

What am i suppose to do?

Many thanks,

Ignace

Hi @ignacesocial-ads-fr,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses Tab, edit each of the accesses and make sure the following two CANs are enabled:

  • Can view topic
  • Can view replies

Then delete all caches and check again.

I'd also suggest you read this FAQ, it'll allows you better understand the wpForo Usergroup and Forum Access system:

Hi thanks for the reply but i have admin access and everything seems right on the usergroups.

I think the issue is more Database issue: Stats are showing 0 topics 0 discussion and everything appears at the level of the forum.

Meaning if I create a topic it won't appear as forum, so i can see it...

Does it make sense?

Ignace

HI,

Thanks for the reply: there are not error messages in any of the debug checks as you can see in screenshot attached.

But there are no rows in most...

Could it be some db user priviledges ?

I don't know if that's related but i'm getting this error on phases:

Uncaught Error: Call to a member function languages_dropdown() on null in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-admin/phrase.php:118

@ignacesocial-ads-fr,

There are a few reasons that may cause the issue.

 1. There is a cache issue. If you have a cache plugin you should exclude your forum home page from your cache plugin. This is very important. More info here: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/

2. Or the wpForo plugin version is too old.

However to fix it please uninstall wpForo, then delete the wpForo plugin. Then go to the wordpress.org install and activate it again.
