In the widgets settings for recent posts there is a setting for limiting the amount of posts displayed for per topic. For example, if you set it to 2 then only the latest two posts are shown for a topic that might have had 10 replies in the last minute. Is that what you are looking for?

is not working this is the problem,

if u use the limit you get results from topics , not the posts,

me and my programmer we try to fix the bug,

but nobody cares.

The limiting filter works on my boards. Maybe you have custom code somewhere else preventing the function from working properly?

is limiting, yes , but instead of posts in the results it shows topics,

it has 2 choices by modified and by creation, these are for tpics not posts.

Posts are by last first or the opposite.

Anyway, i asked a simple question:

which php file is responsible for showing the "recent posts" widget?

i am not here to argue.

Can you help me with this? i hope for a fast reply by the support.
