wpForo 1.x.x [Closed] New page error 404

Hi team,

I created a page to run a photo contest and i keep receiving error 404.

What am i doing wrong here?

Ok, a page under the /forums/ permalink ..... i'm not sure it can be created.

How did you created that page?

Navigated to pages and open a new page.

Im not sure if this would work. As far as i can see everything is based on shortcodes. I might need to run my photo contest in the main site outside the forum and i dont want to do that.

@panos,

you should not create any page as a child page of the forum page. I see the page url contains /forum/ path, that means the page was created as a child page. Just don't do that. Create a regular page without any parent or use other pages as parent, don't use the forum page as a parent.

@panos,

wpForo tracks all sub-paths as a topic and doesn't find the topic with the /photo-gallery/ slug. All pages will be tracked as forum topics and will not be found. So don't put pages as child page of the forum page.
