I have members posting multiple times due to this.
I am running LiteSpeed Cache and have excluded the my forum page, could this still be causing the problem?
I disabled it now and will keep it off for a couple of days to test, but I am fairly certain I have tried this before.
Hopefully there is a tickbox or something I am missing.

Please disable all cache solutions for wpForo page. wpForo has own Cache System, you don't need to run caching on wpForo pages.

is it just the /community/ pages that needs to be excluded fromLiteCache? or are there other pages.

Yes, you should exclude /community/ and all other URLs with this path /community/*
