Hi there,

There is this strange thing with members list I figured lately.

I guess all users can access their forum user profile, so that's not the case. But many usernames are not listed in wpforo members list and don't show up in search results.

should I not worry about that?

One of the users I couldn't find in the member list was one of my website authors. and when I changed its role to subscriber, it appeared in the list.

can anyone guess why is that?

OK. My bad. The setting was in Forum settings under Members tab, at the bottom, where badge settings are. I found that author was unchecked.

But why having no badge results to disappearing from member lists?

That's not depending from the badges, there is only two reason why the members are not listed in member list`

1. The members are inactive, You can see the inactive members in Inactive Filter which is at Dashboard > Forums > Members.

2. "Display on Members List" checkbox is inactive In Dashboard > Forums > Usergroups.

So when you change your user's usergroup from author to subscriber, in wpForo your usergroup has automatically  changed to another usergroups where the "Display on Members List" checkbox was activated.
