Would it be possible to open the code formatting button as a modal like the "source code" button does? This way the code editor would be more intuitive to use.

If you don't want to add this into the main plugin, would you do a customized version for me for a payment?

My forum is 90% finished but I really badly need a more convenient code button since I have a programming website.

Hi @florian,

I'm really sorry but wpForo doesn't have such a feature. There is not an easy solution which I can post it here.

You should find some developer for this purpose, we don't have custom development services.

Ok I understand that. Is there at least a way to add new buttons to the editor? I have editor plugins that support the frontend but it has no effect on the wpForo editor.

This would make it very easy to add some custom behavior.

It doesn't have to be easy, I would hire a developer, I just need to know if there is a way.

I've built my own solution by modifying your tinymce-code.js file. Is there a way to save this file from being overwritten on updates?
