I am confused. Do I have to set up the forum page or is the plugin supposed to create the page for me? There is a "slug" (community) mentioned, which implies to me that the page should be there, but it was not generated.

Hi @kathlen,
wpForo create a new page with /community/ slug and with [wpforo] shortcode in the content during the installation process. Please go to Dashboard > Pages and search for "wpforo" word. It should find the page which includes [wpforo] shortcode.
