Hi, The view count for a topic increases every time a user logs in to the forum, which is normal; however, if the user refreshes the forum page, the view count increases every time, which is not normal. Is there a way to lock the view count for a set period of time, such as 1 hour or 24 hours, to resolve this issue?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @mapomapo1953,

There is no such problem in wpForo. I just refreshed your topic 10 times, it's still shows 1 view. Please make sure you use the latest version of wpForo and the wpForo theme is not outdated.

Hi @mapomapo1953,

Ok, thank you, the only reason why this could happen is disabled cookies of your browser. This is a browser cookie issue, it seems you have some browser extension that blocks cookies or you have explicitly disabled them.

Unfortunately, I've tried everything I can think of regarding cookies, but nothing seems to work. I've also tried with Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, and my phone, but I'm having the same problem everywhere.
