I've played around with BuddyPress, Ultimate Member and PeepSo and I find PeepSo to be the most advanced of all three of them. It has the most features and just seems to work really well. But it is definitely lacking when it comes to integration with wpForo.
There are a lot of integration features I'd like to see, but there are two that stand out in particular for me. The reason I'm posting this is because I'd be willing to pay for these integrations, if the price is reasonable. I don't know how much time or effort it takes to do something like this, so I don't know what the cost would be. But I'd sure like to start a conversation with someone (or a few someones) who could create these integrations.
Here are the primary integrations I'd like to have between wpForo and PeepSo:
- Activity stream integration: This would basically just be the same thing as wpForo already does with BuddyPress since the 1.4.6/1.4.7 releases, i.e. simple posts to the PeepSo Activity Stream for new topics, replies and likes that lead back to their respective forum posts.
- Import wpForo avatars: I'd like to have a way to import existing wpForo user avatars into the PeepSo user profiles.
Anyone have any thoughts on this or would anyone like to tackle this? I'm happy to pay a reasonable fee for these services and maybe it could also be released for other wpForo users.
