there are a number of parameters in the wpforo plug-in settings that seem to imply that we could show only the first few lines of a post on the topic page, when posts are very long.

i think i tested all of them, to no avail.
is that possible and how can it be done ?

Hi @jimdoneit,
As we can see you use the Simplified layout. I'm sorry but for this layout, there is no option to change the "Recent post length".

but you do have lots of parameters in the settings: can you tell me which layout i should use in order to show collapsed views of posts, and using what setting ?
