I'm getting this exact same fault, private forum post title is appearing in the "latest posts" section of the stats at the foot of the page.
My moderators forum (staff) has its post title listed in the "latest Posts" in the stats section at the foot of the page. This happens if its the latest post, this is not good.
I've checked and doubled checked all my settings they are correct. Also flushed caches.
For now I've had to disable the stats. Please advise as this is a show stopper for me.

And you are seeing this when you are logged out? Try viewing via incognito browser session just to be sure.
The widgets show content as per user so if you are logged in and have access to a forum it will show you that content.

Its nothing to do with widgets, the "recent posts" widget on the side bar thankfully is not listing moderator thread titles.
This is to do with the "latest post" info that's contained within the statistic module at the foot of the page.
I've tried with multiple browsers and sessions from multiple sources and accounts. I even logged in as a ordinary user under a test account and saw it for myself. The example attachment above showing the statics bar with moderator thread title in, was viewed as a guest!
It was not me who first spotted it, thankfully one of my ordinary members e-mailed to say was I aware ordinary members could see moderator thread titles? He said when he clicked on the link it took him to the post but stated he did not have access permission to view the thread content. At least that bit works, but I really don't want moderator threads titles being displayed in the statistics "Latest Posts" section.
As far as I can tell Its definitely a bug
