[Solved] Problem saving Account changes
Hi,
I have a couple of users of my forum saying that when they go to My Profile/Account and change their location, occupation, signature etc and click save - none of the changes are saved. What can I do?

Many thanks
Hi @faitht,
Thank you for using wpForo and for contacting us.
Could you please describe more in detail the issue. Do the users see any error messages? What fields are they trying to change? Which usergroup do users belong to?
In case you want to say thank you 😊

Thanks for your reply.
I haven't really got my head around uaergroups. We're using Memberpress and when we add members using that, they seem to automatically be able to use the forum. In the Usergroups tab, they are showing up as User Role - Subscriber, and Usergroup - Registered. I've attached a screenshot of the User Groups tab.
Members want to change the Location, Occupation, Signature, Social Networks and Timezone information. They enter their information and click save and the message says that the settings are successfully saved. But they are not. Only the Location option is actually updated. I've tried it with several test users and the result is always the same. We can add a location, but nothing else.
I look forward to your suggestions!
Many thanks
Faith
Please register some new testing user and send the user's login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address to allow us to check it.

Sorry about that - my assistant was tidying up the test memberships that we'd added over time... it's back in there now.
Thank you @faitht,
Please don't remove it. The plugin developers need the login details to check the issue.

You've done some customizations, haven't you?
Also could you please change the current user role to admin to allow us to understand the reason for the issue?

I only did some CSS customisations to make the forum match the rest of the site. I've changed the role to Admin now. Apologies for not doing that earlier.
Thank you @faitht,
The issue doesn't come from wpForo plugin. wpForo works properly. It comes from Cloudflare cache. We've checked many times and actually it changes the information, however, it doesn't show the changes immediately because of the Cloudflare cache. If you wait a bit and refresh the page you'll see the changes.
Please try to exclude the base forum path: /community* from Cloudflare's caching:

Thank you so much for finding that out for me and for the support article. I really appreciate your help. I have 2 more clients who want to use forums and now I feel totally confident in using your plugin and maybe some of the Add-ons.
thanks again
