[Closed] Problem with setting forum as homepage

Hi

I tried to set the forum as the home page and I had a problem.  It loaded fine on the main forum but as soon as I went to a sub-forum then the pages were breaking.  It was loading other WordPress templates to display the content and this broke the page.

Do you have a solution for this?

Hi.  I can't at the moment because it's on a restricted site.  But I think it might be related to the Views plugin (toolset.com) where it's trying to load default templates because it's getting confused about the pages that are being called.

Views replaces templates if needed.  But I don't have it set for the Forum.   So it appears I need to create some kind of template in the directory to force the loading of WpForo pages.

Hi, do you have any solutions?  I need a way to force the WPforo pages to be loaded instead of WordPress templates.

I'd suggest you deactivate plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker one. 

Also please check the points mentioned in this doc one more time and make sure you've done all steps correctly:
