It shows for admin but not registered. More confused even after checking usergroup permissions.

There is no option to hide/show the Recent Posts link in footer. It doesn't have any relation to Usergroup access. Just delete all caches and update the forum statistic in Forum > Dashboard admin page.

I'll take your word for it but now it has disappeared for admins too. There is just the statistics and topic icons. Nothing showing recent topic or newest member.

I would much prefer this to be an administrative on/off feature. I just installed a forum for a patient federation on which all posts are private - people always have to register in order to gain access, only to see this feature disappear in two days and apparently without any option to restore it ... except a php hack, even though I would rather avoid that for maintainability alone ...Β  😯

Is there any chance that this could be turned into a switchable feature? I'm sure that there are other non-public boards out that that would appreciate this!

All the best,

Iraina
