Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page click on the "Delete All Caches" Button and check again.

Then please let us know do you have a cache plugin installed. if yes you should exclude your forum home page from your cache plugin and check again. Almost all cache plugins should have an option to exclude pages from the caching process.

It something specific on your end. So please purge CDN, reset Minifier/Optimizer plugins caches, and check again.
