the wpForo design is changed and the reply button has been removed from the first post. Here is the same, you can change the Extended and Simplified layouts on our community:
Why did it get removed?
That seems rather illogical as most people will want to reply to the first topic post.
The post editor is opened by default thus there is not necessary to click on the reply button.
Yes but after there are a few replies...people need to scroll all the way to the bottom to reply...rather than hit a 'reply' button on the top post that lets them reply.
ie. if a topic has 30 replies...people need to scroll all the way down. Not a good user experience, especially on mobile where it is easy to scroll past the text box.
Can you please re-include it?
All other forums (non wpForo) have it and you guys used to have it, it seems.
Or can there be an option to select it in tools/settings?

I've found the solution.
Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Topics & Posts Tab, and enable the "Threaded Layout - First Post Reply Button", the reply button will be displayed in Expanded and Simplified layouts as well.
Please delete all caches and press CTRL+F5 on frontend before checking.
