wpForo 1.x.x [Closed] Reply to a topic Title

Hello.

When replying we have the option to use a different "title" from the Topic.

Where exactly is that used ? I can't find anywhere those titles.

Ok, i found one place used, the widgets of Recent Posts. Anywhere else ?

And why would someone change the title on a reply? Doesn't it confuse things when the title is different from the original subject, especially when it shows up on the recent posts list?

I can't see that reply posts even have a individual topic title.

I wonder what would happen if you did change the title...

I was asked if the "RE:" could be totally be removed.

Anyway, it seems also that the reply titles ARE actually fully used in RSS feeds.

Yes, I forgot about the RSS feed. So, I tried changing the reply title and it still posted the reply normally. Only difference I could see was a different title on the RSS.

So yeah, I can't see why this even needs to be an available option. Not that I want functionality taken away, it's just that I don't see a function for it.

Perhaps there is one. Anyone?
