For some reason, when clicking on the link in the email to set a password after registration, the page that opens is the forum login page and a message appears "the key is invalid". Any idea why this is happening?
Which other information to you require to check this? I have only made changes to a usergroup, previously the email link would open a page to set a password.
If this doesn`t happen for you if you test, it might have to do with the browser cache?! I have tried on a different device and the password reset page opened fine.

Go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Email Tab, find New User Registration Email for user option, provide a screenshot of that option.
