I pasted some HTML (as admin) in to the topic. Great! It works wonderful.
Now, I want to "edit" the raw HTML. - I can't find a way to do this.
The other question is: change the HTML from <h2>text</h2> to standard paragraph text.
What am I missing here?

You should use the "Source" button on editor toolbar.

wpForo editor doesn't have an option to create h2, thus there is no button to change it to paragraph. You can change it in HTML code.
