Good thing I noticed that my host updated PHP to V 8.1 while they were trying to figure out the problems on my site. Luckily it wasn't set that way for more than an hour or so. Back to 8.0!

This is interesting...

I use portal type page that loads relevant content for my users. And it has been taking about 20 seconds to load along with most other forum content. So in order to test some of this, I decided to create a staging site that is a duplicate of the live site. And THAT site is loading fast! the portal page loads in 4-5sec which is normal.

Live site: https://gopherpucklive.com/portal

Staging Site: https://50t.413.myftpupload.com/portal/

How can the staging site load much faster than the live site when the files/database is the same? Maybe some corrupt files? But that would cause the staging to be messed up too since the files are copied over. Something is not right.

I see your site stalling at region1.google-analytics.com for several seconds.

This is a hosting or connectivity issue, imho.

What can I do with that?

Switching to PHP 8.0.x the errors are gone?

If so, then try to disable plugins one by one and see what causes the issue.
