Im going to need to migrate my woforo to a new website as our site is being completely rebuilt, ultimately it will end up on the same domain however i need to migrate the complete wpforo over to our new site thats on a temporary domain.
any help / ideas on the best way to do this?

I'm actually planning something very similar, and I have the same question. I need to move a complete wpForo installation to a new WordPress website that's currently on a temporary domain, and then eventually switch it back to the original domain once the rebuild is finished. I want to make sure all the forums, users, topics, attachments, and settings come across without breaking anything.
I also have the same question about the safest migration approach. I'm wondering whether it's better to clone the entire WordPress website first and then update the domain later, or if there's a recommended wpForo-specific migration process. I'd love to hear from anyone who's done this successfully and can share the smoothest way to handle it without losing forum data or causing issues when the final domain switch happens.

OK so as far as i can see, as long as i migrate the users and usersmeta tables first and them migrate the wpforo tables it should all be fine?
