The funny thing is that when my host turned on php 8.1, I never did get any errors. I just HAPPENED to notice that they made the change and I quickly changed it back.

Waiting to hear back from my host now.

Uggg... neither I or my host can figure the problem out. Very frustrating

A staging site load very fast and is a duplicate of the live site. Yet the live site is very slow.

Oh... I had done that. Nothing changed.

Just did it again right now. Going one by one. Checking the load times after each one. I have them all reactivated again and my site is running just fine?!?!?

w*f?!?!

I am really confused. I am basically back to the same plugins all running and there is no speed issue? What is up with that?

I just shake my head! It did do anything before by turning them off and then going one by one... But now it works fine?

I am so confused.

But as always... I appreciate this board and all the advice given here. Great community.

@cotner Ok, what you could also try is install

https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/

and see where the delays are.

Also what kind and version of mysql you use?
