[Closed] Slow Message Board the last few days...

So... My board has been very slow the last few days. It just happened out of no where. And it is only the WPForo part that is slow. Taking 15-20 seconds to load every page. Many times users are getting a dark background loading for most of that time. (I believe that is one of my main BG colors) Anyone have an idea of what this could be all of a sudden? It seems so strange. WPForo was last updated on Dec. 28. So it is not like anything changed there. The only thing I can think of was I THINK that The Advanced Attachments plugin for WPForo was updated a few days ago. Could that be causing the issue? It is so strange... Any advise on how to tackle this problem? When I put WPForo in to "Under Construction" mode. Everything goes back to normal with the forum speed. (Obviously since it is no longer loading)

I figured out the offending plugin. It was the Leira Letter Avatar plugin, which is also used here.

When I reactivated it, I didn't realized that you had to do a second save within the plugin settings to turn it back on. So when I noticed that a bunch of avatars were missing, I checked and saw I needed to save and turn it on. As soon as I did that, the site got slow again.

So I have turned it off...

Something must have happened recently that has caused a conflict with it on my server. It's too bad since I like that plugin. But I at least found the problem.

What you say is a bit confusing, because you told us that you did disable all plugins and no luck.

Anyways, Leira is something i use also without a single issue. But every site is different.

Did that a few days ago and nothing changed. Did it again today and all of a sudden things worked again. Which is why I was so confused.

Strange about Leira plugin... Love that plugin. But I guess it is technically not compatible with my version of WP. Hopefully there is an update on it soon and maybe I can reactivate.
