Seems to be working now after I ran the debug...

Any idea why it happened in the first place and how to fix?

Both issues are solved, aren't they?

Probably it's some cache problem.

Yes solved now.

I don't have caching active on the forum

This issue is now back, can you please check to see what is causing it and how to fix?

I can't post at all, that error message appears when you go to post.

Text editor toolbar is missing and text input box is half size.

Why don't you follow the standard debug procedure ?

Disable plugins one by one, check for js errors, debug.log, switching to default theme.

Problems that come and go, point to some caching ...

Because I have no idea how to check those things and the plugins I have are needed for the rest of my site.

I'm sure they can see what is causing the error specifically.

Can you please just let the admins reply if you don't have a specific solution. Otherwise is not helpful.

ie. 'switch to default theme'

Over 30k people visit our site daily which is a news site, am I supposed to screw up the whole site to fix one error?

Please don't be so negative to everything. It is all over your posts and replies. I just try to help you out.

If the error comes from your theme for example, do you expect wpForo to fix it ? How that can be possible ?

Also if you have 30k of people, then ask your admin to create a TEST subsdomain, copy everything in there and do your tests.

I run it all and have no idea how to do any of that.
I thought this was supposed to be a support forum to have issues fixed.

Will wait for wpForo devs to reply.

Thanks for your input but some of us do not have level of know how or have days to be be able to test for these things even if we knew how.

Sure, issues that have to do with wpForo.

yes, people can't post on my forum and are asking me why, hence I'm here asking the same question.

That is an issue with wpForo I would assume, as there is no caching active on the forum from other plugins.

Also i see some js errors in your forum home page. This is probably the reason you don't "see" the toolbars etc

Thanks, I'm not sure what that means but will look into it.

Hi @stocksforum,

Yes, I also see a js error on the console. This kind of issues is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with other plugins. So please try to find the problem maker one by deactivating the plugins one by one.

When I clear the wpForo forum cache and go through the forum debug options in 'tools', the forum starts working properly.
You still think it's a js problem outside of wpForo?

If you check now it should work fine.

There are some excellent maintenance plugins for Wordpress. Install one and just enable Maintenance for a few minutes. And do all your tests.

I'm sorry but if you do not pinpoint your error (from where exactly it comes from), you will never be able to get proper help.
