I have created a forum and have added members, but they are unable to login even though they show up as members. am I missing a step?

I see some plugins which work on login process.You should pass both steps to be able login.
First one is this:
Second is WordPress.com login. as far as I know this comes from Jetpack:
So please deactivate these plugins or configure them to not affect wpForo login process.

thanks so much. both features were from jetpack. once I deleted the plugin, people were able to log in.
