So :

First, afert having updated the forum, I lost my personnalised theme.

And no theme was activate anymore ... with NO POSSIBILITY to activate the default theme in the forum settings = the forum didn't function anymore.

So I copy / past the default theme, and then in the forum settings, I found 2 theme and I found again the button to activate the theme ===> finally the forum functions again. Ouf !!

Another thing, by doing some tests, I lost every things which were in the directory "wpforo /wpf-themes" !!!

So I kept back a backup and reinstal the theme which was activate yesterday (version 1.4.0).

All the icons are active with this version.

But would you have the possibility to give me content of the directory "wpforo /wpf-themes" of the new version of the forum ?

>>>> Please leave forum URL to check the icons.

Thanks for your proposition, but I prefer not to let the URL on a forum.

Can I send it to you by private message ?

Please delete wpForo and install it again. There should not be other themes in wpForo theme admin page, There should not be two theme. You've not fixed the problem. We can't support you until your wpForo installation is not the native wpForo. It should have one theme called classic in Dashboard > Forums > Themes admin page.

I already asked you, also check the WordPress teheme folder (not wpForo theme). And make sure there is no  /wpforo/ folder in the active WordPress theme folder. You should delete it if you see it.

 I checked.

It is ok : there is not wpforo folder in the active wp theme folder.

Anyway, how a wpforo folder can be in the wp theme folder ?

NOBODY posted to UNINSTALL wpForo. Read more carefully.

Disable the plugin and DELETE IT.

Also as a good rule, always perform a full backup (WP directory and DB) before such updates/upgrades or when problems occure and you need to take extra steps.

Disable + Delete : Ok

But I thought the Delete action would delete all tables of wpforo in the database.

So this means that if I delete an extension, this will not delete its tables from the database.

What seems obvious too you ... is not for everybody.

What do you mean by DELETE ?

==> DELETE the extension from WP admin ?

or

==> DELETE the directory [wpforo] and all its files from the directory [plugins] ?
