Hi,
I have enable the User Registration email confirmation setting for the wpForo Forums when someone registers they receive an email with 2 links
1. which includes to reset the password but it gives the link to set the password of the wp-login which is incorrect. In spite of doing all the settings still getting the same link.
2. Second link which is being received is that of the login page to enter the user name and password.
Unless the password is set how a person will be logged in?
Why is this happening this way why there are 2 links sent to the users email address?Â
All my settings are correct accordingly to the documents which is provided by you.
I want to user the email confirmation feature in my forum. I request you to provide me with the a solution on how to stop this or some other alternatives.
Hi,
Please make sure the "Overwrite WordPress New User Registration Email for Users" is enabled. It's located in the Dashboard > wpForo > Settings > Email Settings admin page. Check the message body as well.Â
Hi @sofy,
As you mentioned earlier, I have enabled the settings. The screenshot attached below can help you gain a better understanding.
Even with the correct configuration enabled, the issue persists. Kindly give a solution from your end.Â
Email confirmation mail for your reference, where you can see that, to set the password it directs to wp-password reset page.

Hi @asmita @sofy , the problem is already known or has been reported in another thread. Many users are affected by it. The issue has been ongoing for many weeks. @sofy has already mentioned in the other thread that it is known, but not here again.
I hope the problem will really be fixed. A friend and I had already sent an email to the team some time ago, but we have not received a response to this day. I noticed the problem when I updated my WordPress; that's when it started. Or also with the WPS Hide Login plugin, which I use to change the WP-Admin URL. Everything gets overwritten there as well.
It is definitely a problem with Wpforo. I hope there will be a solution or an update as soon as possible. Maybe someone could comment on this again?
