How do I change this so that when they log in it goes to a different page? It takes them to the wordpress backend admin profile settings. Granted they can only see their profile settings but I think it is confusing to have it redirected here on log in. I can't find the place to change this anywhere.

Hi @angie,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members admin page, make sure the Redirect after login field is empty in "Custom Redirection URLs after following actions" section.

This area is blank, is there anything else I could try? Can I designate a page that they can be redirected to on log in?

@angie

Probably there is some other plugin caused the issue. Try to deactivate the plugins one by one and check it to find the problem maker.

Can I designate a page that they can be redirected to on log in?

Sure, you can. You should fill the page URL in the "Redirect after login" field.
