@dimalifragis,

What type of DB server do you have, MySQL or MariaDB, and what's the version that are you using?

Also, can you update the DB server to the latest version and check if the issue still persists?

I have

MySQL Version 10.6.12-MariaDB-log of 6 Feb 2023.

Updates are handled by Cloudlinux and there is no need to update anything.

And you mean you can't replicate it?

Does that help:

[27-Apr-2023 14:52:02 UTC] WordPress database error Regex error 'missing closing parenthesis at offset 25' for query SELECT `topicid` FROM wp_wpforo_topics WHERE `title` REGEXP "MyCustomThemes|theme|(207" made by do_action('wp_ajax_wpforo_search_existed_topics'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, wpforo\classes\Actions->search_existed_topics, wpforo\classes\Topics->search

The topic had a title:

MyCustomThemes theme (207)

Let's if i can replicate it here (if you have debug enabled).
