Hi. I migrate forum from Kunena to wpForo, but see problem with members passwords. As I see in this topic, https://wpforo.com/community/phpbb/member-passwords/ if I migrate from non-wordpress forum plugins (such as Joomla's Kunena in mu case), passwords not save, right? And users need to reset their passwords?

Yes, @silent2000, the passwords cannot be saved if you migrate from stand-alone forum softwares like phpBB, SMF or MyBB as far as the password hashing/encrypting algorithms are totally different and they don’t match to WordPress.

You should add a small note/message to forum users and put the reset password link in that message on top of your forum home page using the Admin Note tool in Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Misc admin page.

Here is already explained that: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/migrate-to-wpforo/#does-this-tool-preserve-user-password

In case you want to say thank you 😊

We'd really appreciate and be thankful if you leave a good review on plugin page. This is the best way to say thank you to this project and support team.
