In order to preserve credits, for example, can you disable summarisation or other AI features, and only run AI Search Enhancement?

Yes. Every AI feature is an independent toggle. You can enable only Search Enhancement and disable everything else, summarization, suggestions, translation, chatbot, moderation, and image indexing. On top of that, wpForo AI has 10+ built-in mechanisms to prevent unnecessary credit spending: caching, rate limits, deduplication, quality tiers, and more. Here’s the complete list.
