I was really looking forward to this update, and am looking forward to the paid add-ons too.

However, after I updated...my forum disappeared. I know what the problem is, just don't know how to solve it. I had my wordpress in a sub-directory until yesterday when I moved the index and htaccess into the root (site went live)...so all my content is still in the sub-directory. I've had some problems with other links showing that directory...others have been ok. The forum was fine.

But not now...it's just not showing, and I can't change the Forum base URL.

Any idea what I can do?

Thanks,

Aisha

Hi, the shortcode has changed, so I think you should edit the page your forum is running on and change the shortcode from [wpforo-index] to [wpforo]. I think that's it.

Seems "Menu Bar" doesn't work for all theme 🙁
I tried much theme, some of them doesn't show the "Menu Bar" but "Search" works for all.

I currently using "Ultra" theme, and the "Menu Bar" doesn't work 🙁
Hope wpforo could fix for the next update.

I've got the main forum page up but like Hauyser, I'm now having the problem that any link I click, takes me to a random wordpress page.

Also, can't change page slug because the subdirectory is there and cannot be changed.

No, it's not that...it has that new shortcode and the main page does show up, but rest of links don't work.

Congrats for the version 1 😀

Now I have a Issue... the link who redirect to hes profile in the forum, are missing the "community" slug, in my case is "foros". But in the menu the links are fine.

Links of user in Last post info on index board, topic list and topics replys 🙁

Heres a Screenshot:

Thanks

I just wanted to add that I have tried saving the permalinks, clearing cache so many times, but still no luck.

It's a brilliant forum plugin and I hope this all gets sorted soon 🙂
