Is there any way that users cannot get an avatar gif?

Hi @alber_97,

There is no way to filter avatar extensions. However, you can disable the Custom Avatar for certain Usergroup, so they'll not be able to set any images or animations. Just disable the "Frontend - Can upload avatar" permission for your regular users usergroup:
