I'm sorry, but I don't follow you well.
If you need to share the forum posts you should use the wpForo built-in Social sharing feature. The options can be found on Dashboard > Forums > Settings > API's admin page.
If you'd like to embed the articles to post content you should use the wpForo Embeds add-on. More info here: https://gvectors.com/product/wpforo-embeds/

I'm really sorry, but this requires lots of custom coding. There is no easy solution I can post here.
Workaround: you can use the wpForo Embeds add-on. In this case, you or your friend should create a new topic on your forum and paste the URL of the post s/he wants to share on your forum.

I've been using mybb for 6 years, and my forum https://tvtrans7.com also used mybb cms but after I got to know wpforo I was able to judge that mybb and wpforo were still superior to wpforo. hopefully wpforo can defeat the giant vbuletin forum. Keep the spirit
