The plugin (notifications) works in two cases:

1. When someone replies to website comments (not related to wpforo)
2. When someone replies to a NEW topic I started. Other participants of that topic DO NOT get notifications. I asked other members do they get notifications and they said they only get them in the topic they started, not in other topics.

This integration does two things. It notify when somebody replies in your topic and if somebody replies to your post. BUT, they must click on REPLY button for initiating notification. If you just scroll down and reply in topic only the topic author will get notified. So please make sure you use REPLY button to notify the author of that post.

Look, WpForo is my favourite plugin and I would really love if you keep the integration.

Everyone is using the reply button. That is not the problem.

For example: If a member starts a new topic - he will get notifications for all the replies.But noone else will. Here is the scenario:

- Member 1 starts a NEW topic

- Member 2 replies : "Hey, that is a good idea"

(at that point member 1 will get a notification that Member 2 has replied)

- Member 1 replies to Member 2 with: "Thank you"

(now member 2 should get a notification that Member 1 has replied but there is no notification)

I hope you understand what I mean.

I am not saying wpforo is the problem, maybe it is the notifications plugin, but I would really love to have your insight.

We found the issue related to "reply to reply" notification and "self notification". Also we made other improvement in UM integration file.

1. Please download the attached zip file and unzp it.
2. Then upload and overwrite ultimate-member.php file in your server /wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-includes/integration/ directory.

@robert Is it possible to make this work with the "Quote" button too. That would basically make this integration perfect. A lot of forum members prefer to use Quote over Reply.
