I’ve been exploring the wpForo 3.0 Beta Test, and I must say it’s exciting to see how the platform is evolving. The introduction of AI-powered features like semantic search, topic suggestions, and automated moderation has huge potential for improving user engagement and content quality.
One thing I’d really like to see improved is the overall design flexibility. While the performance and features are impressive, the UI still feels a bit similar to previous versions. A more modern look or customizable themes (especially a proper dark mode) would be a great addition.
Also, the idea of weekly summary emails highlighting trending discussions sounds very useful for re-engaging inactive users.
Overall, the beta looks promising, and I’m looking forward to seeing how these features evolve before the final release. Great work by the team!

Please note that wpForo has fully featured and well designed dark style, please go to wpForo > Settings > Colors and Styles admin page and select the dark one. So, there is nothing to add here, you just need to use it, it's already there
IMPORTANT!
Make sure your WordPress theme is a dark theme, wpForo is loaded in a page content it's not a WordPress theme so it cannot style the header and footer and side areas. So you MUST use a dark WordPress theme with wpForo dark style to get 100% nice look and feel:

I'm sorry but I don't have any update on this. This is a really large feature with lots of backend and email related functions. It might be developed as separate paid addon that will take us 1-2 moth of hard work.
