You indicate that there are free credits to index the forum before first use for large forums (I have 3k topics and 40K posts). But apparently these free credits are only valid once.

After this initial indexing:

  • 1) How many credits does it cost to index a new topic? A new post? If I have 1000 new posts per month
  • 2) Are the free credits also valid for indexing WordPress site content? (included in the Business Subscription). How much does it cost to index a new WordPress article/page?

Yes, the free credits are one time.

If you have 3k topics then you should be able to get another one time Bonus Credits for indexing topics to get started using AI features without spending credits on initial content indexing. Please read this topic for more information: https://wpforo.com/community/postid/137786/

As mentioned @sofy the free credits can be used for any feature. So you can use them for WordPress content indexing as well. In forum one topic with all posts will cost you one credit, but for WordPress one post will cost you one credit (1 Forum Topic = 1 WP Post). If the Image Indexing is also enabled then it'' add +1 credit for each post which has at least one image (more than 50x50 px size) in the content.

@robertΒ

"Request for free content initial indexing" Is this only available in the beta version, or will it also be available in the final version of V3?

If a PDF file is attached to a forum post, will the PDF be indexed by default?Β

Hi,

Please read Roberr's answer here: https://wpforo.com/community/wpforo-3-beta-test/question-about-ai-credits/#post-137786

2) Are the free credits also valid for indexing WordPress site content? (included in the Business Subscription). How much does it cost to index a new WordPress article/page?

You can use the free credits as you like. They are for testing purposes, so you can run any tests you want.
