The emule links are not recorded correctly.

Thank you

@mercaxip yeah, well pls explain your issues better so we can help.

So, you PASTE a link and what happens? Post a screen capture.

Have you tried to put it in as CODE (<>)? Or even in a QUOTE?

Right. So wpForo apparently strips a lot.

Have you tried as <> code or quote?

I don't have any edk2 link to test it myself.

I doubt emule links will parse correctly anywhere except in actual torrent clients.

You will probably have to be content with pasting emule hashes in plain text only. Members should be savvy enough to know what to do with that.

@verek If I paste the eMule links into the WordPress posts they work correctly, therefore the error is in the wpforo

@mercaxip

Via a Wordpress emule plugin?

@verek no, directly pasting the emule link in the wordpress editor

Well then it's like dimalifragis said, wpForo will sanitize a lot of code to protect the forum integrity and that's by design, not an error.

You can look into dashboard?wpForo>settings>Posting & Editor Settings>#Allow extra HTML tags but I would not know which emule specific code would need to added to the "allowed" list.

Or you could try the WP emule plugin and the make sure that "

@verek Seems strange that even in <> it doesn't work. It may not be a LINK but it should appear correctly.
