Is there a way to mute or ignore users that I could add to the forum ? While some voices like to be heard, some dont.

This would be a great feature to have ...

Could you please explain what do you mean saying "voices"? What action you mean?

So next to the "Report" button would be a "Mute" or "Silance" button so posts from that user will no longer be seen by whoever clicked the button

I get asked for this feature.

I'm sorry but we'll not add such buttons, at least this year. You can use Unapprove or Delete buttons for this purpose.

An ignore feature is fairly common in various forums. It allows users to essentially block other users, similar to Facebook's block feature. For example, if I ignore a user, I don't see any of their posts or replies in the forums and they cannot send me private messages.

IMHO, this could easily be a paid add-on for wpForo and I would gladly pay for it. 🙂
