I know it can troubleshoot with adding URL picture to tread but new member will always ask how to do it and its not efesience to them to just adding some pic must upload and generate picture URL
i think adding picture in forum its very standart so it would be easy to just upload image and get the image in tread. it will be great
hope wpforo will adding picture button in next update.

You can add picture by using Source code in editor and "<img src="http://www.jpeg.cz/images/2016/08/08/YGUdb.png" border="0" />", but yes standard is a button in editor like in WP post editor. I hope in future.
Forum users can attach images as an attachment. Also they can put image URL in post content. But the default attachment doesn't have image detection function to show attached files as thumbnail, it shows all attachments as download links. We've not improved the default attachment system yet, because we're currently working on the paid addon called Advanced File Attachments. This is already mentioned in plugin description and in addon page. This addon will be available with wpForo stable version, it comes with all professional functions and features of pro forum attachment system...
