I like wpForo but it falls short on simplicity to use.
It needs some improvements.
Hence interaction using the forum isn't as high as it could be.
Attached example of another forum that has a 'new thread' button that on the home page that lets you post globally and also have the latest posts as the home page that makes it easy to see what the latest everyone if posting about.
Simple to use and post globally on the forum with one click.
The types of forums in wpForo do not work together or offer a universal look.
The images attached are a very good simply to use template that I think would work great with wpForo if created.
I agree with you but I do not like drop downs, especially on sites that have 30+ choices.
Might be better to put buttons next the forum title or under the forum icons.
A 'New post' at the top of the forum makes sense though.
Currently I have users complaining they don't know how to post.
The Threaded forum view is a bit simpler in that regard, but still confusing as the seperate forums will either all have 'add post' if threaded view. Or if you mix in the Extended and Simplified view then people aren't sure on how to post in those as they behave differently.
WpForo is great, but needs to be made easier and more logical to use.
