Being an Admin of any website or forum is a huge responsibility. There is a learning curve to everything. But all technical knowledge has been acquired through reading, studying and applying simultaneously. We have to do our part in OUR OWN learning curve.  Unfortunately, we can't learn all that by automation, (or by bullying or harassing those who know what we don't know yet), or by osmosis.  

Reading the documentation is the key to getting our Forum to work the way it was designed to work.  🙂
