We're doing our best to release it as soon as possible. The next version is a middle version 1.4.0. The profile system is fully changed and all fields are became dynamic. Many new features are added, lots of bugs are fixed and the core performance is accelerated too, we're testing wpForo with 10 million post database.
Also we're preparing wpForo User Custom Fields addon which will allow to customize User Profile, Account and Registration page fields. So, with wpForo 1.4.0 and this addon you can create a community with powerful User Profile system. You'll not need to install other profile builder plugins. At the moment 90% work is done and it's on testing/bug fixing stage. Please be patient, as it's mentioned by Anonymous20, we'll release the new version once all is ready. I'm sorry but I can't provide an exact ETA yet, but it'll be available very soon.
