I have 3 under forums where certain groups should communicate with each other .. if someone registers, I would like to provide new messages in the sub-forum depending on the group in which they come .. So subscribing by default not on Off but on Switching ON for the sub-forum group is something ..
In addition, it seems that you have to confirm that you have subscribed to a contribution by email. I would like to switch it off. It should be easy to click on and off with a click.

I'm sorry, but wpForo doesn't have such a feature.

Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page, disable the Subscription Confirmation option. More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-settings/features/#double-opt-in
