Our current [and badly outdated] forum software includes a feature that is probably the single most used by our users.  There is a single button that the top of the forum that is titled "New Threads"  by pressing that button a display comes up with all the posts made since the last time that user logged on.  This is a key feature for us and is more important because of the way wpForo displays the first screen.  Does a similar function exist in wpForo?

I'm sorry but this function doesn't exist. The only way is using Recent Topics widget in sidebar. This is already in our to-do list and we'll add it in near future releases.

Our old forum is built on xenForo and it has this feature. It's probably the ONLY feature I truly like about xenForo, but it does also seem to be very popular among the users. While it's not a show-stopper IMHO, it would be a great feature for wpForo. 🙂

XenForo is an excellent forum platform and I agree with you about this missing feature in wpForo. The posts stay there until read or marked read regardless of the time of last login.

As a moderator in a forum that is running on XenForo my job would be very cumbersome without it. Having all new messages and replies on a separate page makes life easy and enhance the user experience.

In addition, as a moderator I can mange the forum [merge topics, move messages to another topic {single and bulk}] from the front end.
