Hello,

I am looking through the settings and not seeing the option to force admin approval prior to registration on the forum being completed.  Am I missing something or is there an additional plugin for this?

Thank you,

Robyn

Hi robyn24

User registration is being processed through default WordPress registration system. If you already have a registration approval function in WP then it'll work for wpForo. If you don't have such function please search for Registration activation plugins, they should work for wpForo too. These are two good examples:

  1. https://wordpress.org/plugins/new-user-approve/
  2. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-approve-user/

@robert

Oh my, I am glad I found this topic. It was frustrating getting all these spam registrations. I am trying your first plugin option now. I hope it works.

Thanks for the tip.

I tried this and it did not work?  I set up a test account and it did not give me any registration messages or send me any emails?
