wpForo installation is very easy, just do one click install... You don't need to do any hard customization. Also please read the Getting Started section in plugin FAQ:

I don't see how you can say that this software is useless. IMHO, it blows any other Forum plugin for WP out of the water. Since it is free, that was wrong to criticize someones work since these guys put a lot of time into making what this software is today. Always someone quick to slam someone for there hard work.
Some people are shamelessly thankless.. 😛
Maybe he is some developer of other forums and want to damage the reputation of WpForo but as i wrote in my review this forum plugin is a treasure, that is why better envy in silence 😀
