Guys since it seems i have that issue and my plugin year has expired, witch of the two above solutions works better? Both work?
The second seems easier to apply (and remove if any other issue happens).

Same boat and I will only renew when WPF 2.0 comes out. As an emergency fix I initially used the Tutrix solution but was concerned about certain other plugins or even WP core giving issues with the older jquery version at some point so switched to the snippet from @ddryo_loos for now. It works just fine, so far no adverse effects on WPForo.

( i think @ddryo_loos fix also applies to the whole WP)
Yes it does but it is a matter of of just switching the snippet off if I run into issues rather that futzing about in FTP or CPanel file manager.
