I use buddypress to show user profiles but this does not work when I slug PROFILE to PERFIL (translation to my language).
When it is translated it is shown the non-buddypress forum user page.

The issue will be fixed in the next version release. For now, please don't change the profile field's value.
As far as I understand you've enabled the "Replace Forum Profile with BuddyPress Profile" option. In this case, the profile field's value doesn't have any effects as the BuddyPress one is working here.
Yes, that's right. I just wanted to report the error because I had changed the profile slug before activating the "Replace Forum Profile with BuddyPress Profile" option and when I clicked a user's profile it was not directed to the buddypress profile, it took me a while to find out where the problem was, I think that this can help other people.
