Hello,

we changed our main URL from community to diskuze. However all the links from the icons on the forum are still linking to community. How to fix it? See the attached screenshot.

Edit: the problem is with BuddyPress Profile Forum Tab Integration, when we enable it, all those things stop working and simply shows 404. If we keep it disabled then the links go to the main profile homepage...

Link https://www.xxx.cz/members/admin/community/ should go to https://www.xxx.cz/members/admin/diskuze/

Thank you.

Hi @stirius,

1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks admin page and click on [Update options] button, to reset .htaccess file.

2. Go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General Tab and click on the [Update options] button, to reset wpForo URL settings.

3. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Delete All Caches] button.

4. If you have a cache plugin, please delete all cache plugins.

@robert Hi Robert, I did all of those things above, still not working. You can check the forum here https://www.chcemesoutezit.cz/diskuze/hlavni/vymeny/#post-13 and if you try to click on Renata's icon on the left side, you get the error.

This must be connected to some issues with Buddypress integration.

This https://www.chcemesoutezit.cz/members/admin/community/ should go here https://www.chcemesoutezit.cz/members/admin/activity/ in my opinion.

@stirius,

I'm sorry but I have no other solution for you. I recommend disable BuddyPress and do the same points of deleting caches again.

Hi again. Well, if I disable buddypress then the links are rewritten correctly. However if buddypress is enabled then the links are wrong. So in my opinion the integration between wpforo and buddypress is simply not correct. Either you should be able to tell buddypress to use a different URL or buddypress should not rewrite your settings. In both cases there is nothing I can do on my end.

Please just test it on your site and you will see the issue for sure as well.

Thank you.

@stirius,

The BuddyPress and wpForo integration works fine. This is a site specific issue and the problem in your database. So, there is no any code or solution we could provide. All is already correct. It's hard to say what is incorrect in your database.

You should disable the "Replace Forum Profile with BuddyPress Profile" option in Forums > Settings > Features admin page. And delete wpForo cache again. This will enable wpForo profile pages so you'll not have BP URLs.
